Our leadership model consists of three levels: expert, manager and leader.
Expert: We ensure that every single employee becomes a thorough expert in one area. This ensures that problems are solved pro-actively and that we achieve a high level of performance. At Ak Gıda, every employee trains the relevant other employees in his/her area of expertise, and shares his/her knowledge and experience with them. This procedure is at the same time the main source of continuous improvement.
Managers: Managers communicate the business vision with daily feedbacks and play an important role in its acceptance. At the same time, they define targets requiring high performance, and realise those targets together with their team. An Ak Gıda manager always acts courageously and pragmatic, and praises success in a timely fashion. A manager learns the expectations of the employees, and provides coaching for the development of their skills and careers.
Leader: A leader defines the vision and establishes a road map fitting this vision. At the workplace, the leader spreads the culture of positive thinking, and encourages innovation. A leader establishes synergies between teams and ensures the creation of alternatives in order to maintain competitiveness. The leader is the first degree responsible for the teams’ results, and always leads change.
